La Fundación Nobel volvió a pronunciarse este domingo sobre el gesto de María Corina Machado con Donald Trump, de entregarle el Premio Nobel de la Paz 2025, un hecho polémico que le ha dado la vuelta al mundo.

La organización insistió que el Premio no se puede regalar o transmitir a otra persona.

La Fundación recordó que una de sus misiones principales es salvaguardar la dignidad de los Premios Nobel y su administración.

"La Fundación defiende la voluntad de Alfred Nobel y sus estipulaciones. Establece que los premios se otorgarán a quienes "han aportado el mayor beneficio a la humanidad" y especifica quién tiene derecho a otorgar cada premio", sostuvo.

"Por lo tanto, un premio no puede, ni siquiera simbólicamente, transmitirse ni distribuirse", añadió.
